Cave of Echoes was conceived at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in Beijing, China during the first national lockdown. The record evokes a sense of adventure tempered by a feeling of claustrophobia - a journey into a deep dungeon without any idea what's to come at the end. No plan, no grand quest - just a trip into the darkness.

Inspired equally by lo-fi, dusty dungeon synth and the modern trance revival, by old-school RPG music and experimental club, Cave of Echoes is the debut release of Ash Glacier aka Numbertheory, the founder of Typhoon Struggle and sister label SESH FM.
